What Makes an App Truly Intuitive?
In my opinion, technology has become a very powerful tool to communicate with other people. Nowadays, using apps is one of the most common and advanced ways to do this. We use them every day for studying, working, shopping, or just for fun. However, I often ask myself: What really makes an app intuitive?
First of all, I believe an app is intuitive when people can understand how to use it without instructions. In other words, users know what to do naturally. For me, a good app makes you feel comfortable from the very beginning. You don’t waste time looking for what to click or how to move forward. Instead, you can easily explore buttons, icons, and menus without feeling confused.
In addition, I think algorithms play an important role. For example, Spotify and Netflix recommend music or movies based on our habits. This happens because they use our digital footprint the record of our clicks and searches to create a faster and more personal experience. Personally, I find this very useful because it saves me time and shows me options that match my interests.
Moreover, I believe that an intuitive app should also be simple, clear, and respectful of privacy. In my view, an app is not really intuitive if it only works well for young. It should adapt to people of different ages and abilities, making life easier for everyone. At the same time, I think it is important that apps use our data responsibly. An app can be smart and personalized, but it should never make us feel our privacy is at risk. To sum up, in my opinion, an app is truly intuitive when it feels natural, saves time, and makes people want to use it again and again. For me, the best apps are not always the ones with the most features, but the ones that are clear, easy, and designed with the user in mind.

Hello Evelyn, of course an app should be intuitive in that way the use of the app is more confortable and easy as you explain, sometimes I have problems with apps that are not well organize I think the creatores should change that to be a better app and have a better expirience.
ResponderBorrarI agree with you, Evelin! Apps should not be designed only thinking about the youth; instead, acknowledge that an older population will use them. It is really difficult for the elders to catch up with technology. App designers must think of a broader and more diverse variety of users; in this way, they are not only being inclusive and ethical but their platform will likely be more successful.
